Spinal Surgery Instruments Set
spine surgical instruments
UBE spine surgery (Unilateral Biportal Endoscopy) is a minimally invasive spinal surgery technique that uses special instruments and equipment to access and visualize the surgical field by making two small incisions on one side of the body.
Endoscope: This is a long, thin, tubular instrument with a light source and a camera at the end that is used to view the surgical field in real time and display images on a monitor to provide visual guidance of the procedure.
Dilators: These instruments are used to separate surrounding tissue and muscle to make room for surgery and maintain visibility. Depending on the surgical needs, different types and shapes of dilators may be used.
Forceps and forceps: These instruments are used to grasp and manipulate tissue, bone, or disc material. They can be used to remove damaged or diseased tissue, as well as for reconstruction and repair.
Drill bits and bone knives: These tools are used to drill holes or cut bone where needed. They are often used in preparation for laminectomy, fusion, or implants.
Screws and hooks: These instruments are used to provide stability and fixation to the spine. Screws are inserted into the vertebral bodies or pedicles, while hooks are used to fix the pedicles or spinous processes.
Probes and separators: These instruments are used to probe and separate spinal structures to help doctors pinpoint and address problem areas.
Suction and Irrigators: These instruments are used to remove fluid and debris from the surgical field and keep the field of view clear.
